🚲 From Zero to Hero to Road-Ready Glory: My Vintage Bianchi is Back!

There’s something special about giving an old bike a new life—and that’s exactly what I did with this vintage Bianchi road bike, picked up on Wallapop for just €30.

I wasn’t expecting much when I found the listing, but when I went to see it, I could already imagine what it could become. The bones were solid, the frame full of character, and I knew it deserved a second chance to roll again—this time, on the scenic roads around Dénia, Jalón, and of course, up the legendary Coll de Rates.

A Piece of Italian Cycling History

Bianchi is more than just a brand—it’s an icon of cycling heritage. The celeste green frame, the classic geometry, the understated charm... this bike may not have carbon or wireless shifting, but it has soul. It’s now become my go-to for those mellow rides where I want to slow down and really enjoy the scenery.

I’ve kept the renovation simple and clean:

🔧 Tuned up the drivetrain

🧼 Cleaned and polished the frame (she shines now!)

🚴‍♂️ Swapped in some solid components to keep it ride-ready, but still true to its vintage vibe

Why Ride Vintage?
